Know the game intimately
Know the rules exactly
Be aware and observant of all aspects of the game going on and when the other team commits infractions
Know how to teach the proper skills to the girls and drill, drill ,drill them. Then drill them some more for good measure
Play girls fairly as...
Occasionally come across a few parents who like a little more than the rest. Not necessarily out of control, just not exactly setting great example for the kids either. Hard to impress on kids why they cant drink, shouldnt drink, how bad alcohol is, etc. when a few parents get liquored up in...
Cheer for team, keep mouth shut about everything else. Don't embarass team, badmouth anyone, comlain about
playing time, etc. Treat all the girls like thrir own, help with team needs. Be sober.
Never heard of issues, many ultralight bats less than -10 dont perform that well though. Used to see a bunch of them in 31/32 at 12-13 yrs old. Dont see many anymore, but still do see a lot of the -10 SCN8B.
Ancient proverb :
"Dog that chases two rabbits at once often goes hungry"
To be successful at difficult goals requires focus and committment. True in the working world, as well as the athletic world.
The truth however is as the old saying goes. For everything you gain, there IS something...
Most teams play everything, and register in 3 or 4 organizations, or more. Good teams want to play other good teams, and good teams are not that common. Most teams in a given for profit tournament are mediocre, even at national level.
A lot of the best teams in the country are old...
It is clear why she got pregnant. She is obviously stupid as hell, and so are her parents.
Excercise is not a problem as long as a woman can do it, but risking violent collisions, etc that can occur in active sports participation is foolish. Ive seen plenty of non-pregnant girls and boys...
You passed the first test.
The right answer is you are doing it for the girls because they have no better options.
The second test is "do you know what you are doing?"
Just noticed you had the other post on the bad politics. Looks like you walked.
Average ability girls will kick A if...
All too normal for some teams. Unheard of with others. Doesnt sound like select ball. Sounds like daddy-ball tournament team. If he didnt throw your DD at all that sends a message that his words dont. At that age if you want to win consistently , you must have an overpowering pitcher. The...
Not necessarily, but may depend on age. If you did that at 18 you wouldnt have many players left. A coach selects players based on how they fit into his/her team and his standards, morals, etc. The same is true for schools, etc. He can get rid of them for any reason he wants, anything that...
Its best described by the saying "Leave everything out there on the field" . When its over, its over. move on. If their coach , parents, teammates take that approach, they likely will too.
Dont get me started on the ridiculous HS teams that play 15 sec of very loud, distorted, annoying music whenever they have a chance..... It seems so ridiculous too with 20 people in the stands.
Boomboxes are despised by most serious players, coaches, parents, tournament officials, neighbors, and dogs. It is often a tell-tale sign of near rec level teams. You might not be one, but you may be regarded as one if you have a boombox. Personally, Id just as soon kick in the speakers of...
The right bat for you is the one you hit the best with. (Duh!)
You are clearly big enough to swing a 33/23 and that is what Id recommend moving up to next. That is the next length up. It is different and you will have to get used to it if you are used to the lighter 32/22. Practice a lot...
I would have let them choose anyone they wanted if they wanted to play, but insist they would have forfeited anyway.
Once a roster is turned in for a tournament under most sanctioning bodies, thats it. And normally as well, no player can play on two teams in the same tournament, thats only...
Ive learned I apparently have more disposable income than I ever knew.
Ive learned sucess in life is to be evaluated based on experiences you treasure, with people you love. Not $, and certainly not "sucess" at a 9-5 job.
If you want LIGHT, forget halogen. The light per watt is too low. Go metal halide, you will get 3x the light per watt than a halogen gives!. This is what ball fields use, etc. only they use 1000 watt lamps. The bulbs will last many times longer too.
Buy two or three used 400W high-bay metal...
