Interference on Bunt Question
Comp, isn't F2 making intitial play on batted ball. NFHS specifically addresses "intilal play". I'm getting the sense that PGF is just show business, not actuall compitition. While I get the whole "do as your UIC instructs" I believe at a USA National we should call it as written and would hope I was not instructed to ignore the written rules.- Umpireernie

Batting out of order- WTF?
Yes as soon as a pitch is thrown (legal/illegal) to the next batter after #2s ground out to 3B the proper batter becomes #4 because #3 is on base. Fair enough on using term blocked ball. But I don't even like to call time when a defender is holding a tag on a runner for extended period of time hoping the runner will get off the bag. Batter kicks blocked pitch
I agree with DD. It doesn't matter if batter "meant to" or did it "accidentally". The batter's action of kicking the ball, even if inadvertent, allowed the runners to advance while preventing the defense from making a play. Dead ball, batter out, runners return.- Umpireernie
