Why Your Softball Players Have Elbow Pain: Wrist Flick Edition
From the videos I don't see how the bad throwing motion he is showing is caused by the wrist snap.It just looks like bad mechanics period. We do wrist snaps and do not throw anything like the bad videos. The snap is just taught so they snap off the laces at end of throw period. Whether you agree...- NWITom

top 12u pitchers ???
50-55mph. That's what we seen at ASA Northern Nationals last year and ASA Nationals in Alabama. You may get a couple better but for the most part that is what you are going to get.- NWITom

buying softballs
Google this 'MacGregor Bucket of Yellow 12" Softballs', I bought mine at walmart online but they only list 11" now. But you can find them for 60ish. I have 4 buckets for practice and they work great.- NWITom

Agree with you. I don't have to lie about that. I have a first year 12 that throws 50 also.Both pitching for 4 yrs and good size.Big deal! My 10 yr old has thrown 47 from 35 and cruises 45mph,juggs gun. She has a long stride and still hitters in ASA hit the ball. Not all the time but most of the pitchers in 10U good teams are 45mph. She only throws a change and fastball. IMO location will become more important at 12U level when the...- NWITom
