    Reality has sunk in for DD1

    Does your job have a loading dock? Bownet, tee, and a bucket of balls. Go to town. Honestly, With a bow net, tee and some tennis balls, She can work outside except for the coldest days. I would suggest an aluminum bat, not the composite tho.

    I wish we had that kind of speed. However, if the ball falls like that, why not take the chance? Errors breed errors, and you HAVE to exploit them.

    I have been saying for years. As soon as my DD is done playing HS Ball, I am going to try to become an ump. Hopefully, my experience from the stands and the dugout, will give me a better starting point than some of the folks we see on a regular basis.

    Attack the ball more when you catch it. If you are aggressive with the mitt, the ball doesn't get the chance to bend back the thumb, (As often)
