How to tell if a bat is "dead" or if its just problems in the swing
I have never seen a composite bat die, usually they get very hot and then break. Two years ago we had a 2013 Xeno that just died. We took a couple different bats out to the field and hit off a tee and it was obvious that it was dead. I am not sure why the xeno and lxt are different from other...- Arnival

Amanda Scarborough- The Packaged Deal
Took my daughter to the one in Fresno recently. She only did the defensive session, in which we both thought was pretty weak. I hear the catching session was great, and the pitching session had mixed opinions, but Scarborough wasn't there.- Arnival

DD needing prescription glasses while playing
My daughter has been wearing contacts since she was 7yo, 12yo now. She refused the wear the sports goggles. The first optometrist we went to refused to prescribe her contacts, so I had to call around until I found one that would. She has never had a eye infection despite being so young.- Arnival

Attack, attack, attack. I hate coaches that are too cute with 0-2 counts. I think a lot has to do with hitters weaknesses and/or pitchers strengths when it comes to pitch selection. If you really want to keep it simple, how many girls are really geared up to crush a 0-2 fastball down Broadway.- Arnival

How do you fix
In no way do I think that this is the answer to her problems. It is a good place to start. My daughter is 10yo and just because she can swing a 33/23 hard it doesn't mean that is the correct bat for her to swing.- Arnival

Is this why most of her power has been to left -center lately? During the summer she couldn't hit anything middle-away, the other way. This fall she has been crushing everything to left, left-center. I do see his COM get lower, as I see in most high level swings. Harper does seem to get taller. We do very little off the tee. I shot the video to watch in slo-mo to see what we needed to work on. I will take some video of front toss in the next week. Thanks for the input.- Arnival
