Dammit second one in 4 months. Glad I bought a backup! The shark's tooth pattern and raised edge gives it away. Crack.
What size/weight is your DD swinging and what manufacture/model of bat?Dammit second one in 4 months. Glad I bought a backup!

Figured but didn't want to assume without seeing an entire barrel and ...well you know what they say when we assume...That is a Mizuno F21 PowerCarbon
32 -11What size/weight is your DD swinging and what manufacture/model of bat?
Core,Sharktooth is the key to any time you are looking at a crack or paint. If there is a tooth, its a start of a crack or cracked.
I suspected a drop eleven when you said that you've had several of these crack. To answer your question, yes. The new -11 bats, in general, are made for a slapper. It is made to bunt, slap, flare the ball with the occasional power swing. They are not made for the every day pounding of full power swings time and time again. Moving to a drop 10 should alleviate the problem.Core,
Would moving to a 32 -10 instead of a -11 be less likely to Crack? I understand cracked bats will happen when they are making the barrels as thin as possible that's why I bought 2 from you in case we ran into this during high school season. She went from a 31 -11 in lxt to the 32 -11 in powercarbon and said it feels just as light as her lxt.
