I second this! For 129.99 I don't see anything comparing to it at that price point.
Let me go get an glove...... thanks everyone

I am looking for a good catcher's glove for 12U. I keep looking at the Shoeless Jane as it looks super soft and comfortable. My daughter says her current glove hurts with hard fast balls. A guy offered me an awesome price on a Shoeless Joe but I am not sure if it will support a 12 softball. Oh an I am not trying to go broke purchasing a catchers glove. She loves her All Star Vela outfield glove, but I am not sure how good are their catchers glove
Any help is appreciated
Hi there!
My name is Jo, and I work in the Fastpitch Division at All-Star Sporting Goods. I would be happy to provide some additional information about our catcher's mitts.
We currently have 3 catcher's mitts: Pro Fastpitch 31.5", Pro Fastpitch 33.5", and AF-Elite Series 33.5". For your 12 yo daughter, I would highly recommend either our Pro Fastpitch 33.5" or our AF-Elite Series 33.5".
Our Pro Fastpitch 33.5" mitt has been designed for a competitive intermediate player. It is constructed with the traditional double-heel break. Overall, it is relatively soft out of the box allowing for a fast break-in time, which is par for a young player wanting to use it right away.
Our AF-Elite 33.5" mitt is our top of the line mitt, and is designed for competitive advanced players (typically high school & college). This mitt is constructed with a single hinge design, which allows the mitt to close naturally while maintaining a wide heel area. This matters because it increases structure and support around the player's thumb. This mitt will be quite stiff out of the box, but it has great pop once broken in!
I hope that this information is helpful!
Thanks everyone
I found the pro for $74 bucks new on Amazon and of course the Magnolia was $129.
either of these is great price (assuming the AS you are referring to is the CM3001, I go buy model designations, not names), never seen it less than $115.
Would the AF be too big for her hand? so I should look into the Pro 33?
