Poor Marcus Mariota. Humble guy. Good person. Heisman Trophy winner. But he'd be 4th on the OSU QB depth chart. And last night he fell at least 25 spots in the draft. Ouch.
Pass the doobie, you're high.

Oh OLAF, another year and another Big 10 boast that must be fueled by a combination of frostbite on your frontal lobe and exhaust inhalation from the unvented two stroke generator you have keeping the lights on in the ice fishing shack.
You are so clueless. We don't need no stinking generators. Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey works just fine to keep us warm. Sure it contains a trace amount of antifreeze, but according to the company not nearly enough to cause any significant mental health issues.
It's fun to contemplate, call it a thought experiment - how many OSU quarterbacks would have beaten Oregon last night?? We'll take it as a given that any of their top 3 quarterbacks would have smoked the Ducks. Same result with the 4th string qb? Maybe a slightly closer game? How about the 5th string qb? Any possibility that Oregon wins that matchup? Realistically for Oregon to have a chance, I think you need to go down the depth chart a little further. Oregon wins if OSU is forced to play their 7th string QB (probably the backup punter). Yes. I think 7th sounds about right. It really is fun to think about.

Men against the boys last night. Women against the girls begins in February.

- 5. Ohio State held Oregon to 27 points under its season average (47.2 points).
- 6. Ohio State converted on 11-of-18 3rd/4th down conversions while holding Oregon to 2-of-14.
- 7. With 42 points vs. Oregon, Ohio State tallied a program-record 672 points, breaking last year’s record (637).

- 9. Ohio State is now 38-3 (.926) under Meyer, the second-highest winning percentage among FBS teams since the start of 2012.
- 10. The Buckeyes own the nation’s longest winning streak, at 13, with their last loss vs. Virginia Tech in Week 2.
