On the bucket
4.) 15min. of VELOCITY PRACTICE including motivational BARKING at DD about increasing velocity DURING velocity practice.......I.E "That all you got?" "Cute only goes so far you know!" "Ok that one hurt a little, how about one that HURTS A LOT!" "Knock me off the bucket and I'll wear a skirt next time!"

Would you elaborate on what you reccomend as velocity practice?

I'd be interested in reading this as well.

The only Velocity training we do is once in a while she'll throw to me using the Glove Radar trying to beat her best. Only do it every few weeks though.

Also, does everyone stick to a set routine? We don't. The only constant is warm up, cool down, and some drills to work on what she's working on with her PC at that time. Other than that, we do simulated innings, locating pitches using signs, play knock the ball off the T, defensive drills, situations like "runner on 3rd, keep the ball out of the dirt", etc. Heck, she even started doing the pitch while kneeling on the body ball to improve her balance and body control. Her choice, I showed her the video someone posted just because I thought it looked cool. She wanted to try it...so there we went, off to Dick's to buy a body ball. Good buy though....she uses it for core exercises as well.

Ours is pretty set, but the time spent on each varies depending on how much practice time we have.

Ken-the stretching has some jumping jacks and cherry pickers and scorpions so I guess it is dynamic...
