I use ones that come from Martin as well, though I don't like compartments and you definitely don't want flaps. If you go with a big name brand, you'll end up spending way too much money before you even address where the system comes from. Plus any wristband you use is usually only going to last a season before it gets dirty and sweaty and smelly. As I mentioned above, I can usually do it for teams, wristbands, shipping and all, for less than $125, partially because I buy the Martin wristbands in bulk from distributors in both youth and adult sizes.

I have a dozen or so brand new ones. And 5 or 6 gently used ones.... if any coach needs them for his/her team, like 29sdad said to me once....good karma! :) I'll just hook you up. PM me with your address

Pm scent with a Q on the bands Coach.

Personally, I do not have the pitcher use a wrist coach. I get the call to the catcher (and probably 70% of the time I tell the catcher that it is her call). Then the pitcher gets it from the catcher (pitch and location).

We have used them for 4 years now and they work we use a color number system for 10u. The older kids will use Never Miss a sign this year we love them...

I didn't have any luck requesting the excel file, so I put my own together. It's by far not a professional system, but for my teams tiny budget, it does the job. So far it has worked well for us. I modified the codes not that it would matter a lot. Feel free to hack away at the file. God Bless!

It is sized for the Adult Martin wristbands. I bought both sizes, and the youth size was tiny. Didn't fit my smallest 14u girl.

From Epic Sports:

Martin Football 1 Compartment Wrist Coach
Epic SKU: E21236
COLOR: BLACK
SIZE: YOUTH $3.79

Looks interesting, I have purchased the Martin Youth for our 14U and they seem to fit ok. I was planning to do the 6x6 matrix, with 0-5 on both axis and only use 2 of the 3 numbers, what you have above looks interesting. I'll probably print and discuss at our next coaches mtg, Thanks for sharing.

One thing I have learned though is this: if possible laminate the play cards with either a heat laminator or a business card protector. Some inks/toners will adhere to the clear panel on the wrist coach when exposed to heat. Leaving the bag in a car on a hot day can sometimes be enough to do this.
I should also note that we put offensive signals on one side, defensive calls on the other. It really works well as a teaching tool because by this point of the season the players have pretty well learned them all.
