Contributions as a softball parent.

My wife is an assistant coach for my DD travel ball team. Often times due to my schedule I can not make practices and I even miss some games !gasp!. Even still, I want to contribute to the team. So, I picked up my camera and started shooting. As I've gone along, my photos have been getting better. I post all my photos to an open account for the team. Last year we made a 20 page picture booklet as a keepsake of the season and gave one to each player. For Christmas, I printed and framed pictures to give to the coaches. (Who doesn't like pictures of their own kids?) This year I made a video montage of the entire season for the team to enjoy. The video debuted on the eve on USSSA Nationals as inspiration to the entire team. (Our condo was wall to wall people)

Having learned from having older boys, time flys. Enjoy it. Document it. Contribute in any way you can. Own it.
