Xmas bat for 7 year old

Dec 2, 2019
My just turned 7 year old plays for a 8u team and I want to get her a new bat for Xmas. She is 42" tall and weighs 43 lbs. She swings the team bat that is 28" cf8 -11. I have been looking at the LXT -12 and the Mizuno f20 -13. She does pretty well with the team bat, but I still feel like it's a little heavy for her. From the reviews I have read the LXT weights are off. She is a contact hitter, hitting mostly hard geound balls. Maybe 1 out of every 10 at bats she will hit a deeper shot to the outfield. I have seen the LXT as low as 175.00 and the F20 around 185.00. Any opinions on either? She is swinging a 29" vendetta in the video. It's too long for her.

What kind of balls are they using? RIF / incrediballs (squishy) or regular softballs?

Coach, but they are going to play in a 10u rec league in the spring that will be kid pitch.

Find her a Demarini same size as the team bat and it will probably last her for several seasons. I went down the road with my dd trying different brands because she was and still is so little. She always hit the best with a single piece Combat and the older version of the Mizuno F20 (Silhouette) but the Combat broke and she just never liked the Mizzuno. The Lxt in the smaller sizes doesn't feel balanced and was overweight. At least until she is bigger you can't go wrong with the Demarini cf series.

Agree, the 28 demarini isn't too big in the drop 11. They swing extremely light and are very balanced. All the other bats you mentioned are going to swing as heavy or heavier even though they are bigger drops. Find a used cf anything for about 150 and clean it up pretty with new grip and a bow and she will be set.

Out of these, what do you think the best option? They are all between 170 and 200.
Personally, my first choice would be the cf9 (middle bat) and 2nd would be the cf6 (far left bat). My dd currently uses the cf9 and we have seen a million of them around here. Honestly, any of the Demarinis in that pic would be fine though if the size is right.
