My 8 y/o DD needs an upgrade, as she's playing with one of those cheap Franklin or Wilson black/pink outline gloves that are fake leather. I'm not looking to break the bank at this point as she's 8. She plays catcher and middle infield, and has pretty long fingers for an 8 y/o.

How's this glove, knowing I can get it for about $65 after shipping?

For an 8yo, that's a decent place to start. #1 concern...Does she like it?

Is that a youth specific model? I'm not seeing anything online in a youth model with that name. Try the fit, but at 8 she may have issues spreading her fingers wide enough to fit the finger stalls.

My 8yo was using my backup 12.5 onxy the other night at her sisters practice to play catch (I keep it in the bag for the girls,12u, who forget their bags in mom/dads car when switching houses). It was big but she didn't have any issues closing . Also my 8 yo is the size of a 6 yo 4ft 45lbs.
