Tryouts at Cornelius Park in Mooresville, NC Sunday, August 23rd, 3:00 - 5:30, meet at field 1(address:247 Cornelius Park Rd, Mooresville, NC 28117) for the Williamsburg Starz-NC Strahan team. This is a NEW TEAM that will play at a high level. We are looking for strong players in every position except catcher we already have two catchers committed. Birth years that we are looking for: 03, 04, 05. We will look at any player that feels they can play at the 16/18 level and want to play in college. NO COACH ON THE TEAM HAS A DAUGHTER PLAYING
We are looking for Pitchers that can hit their spots, have good movement, speed is nice, can field their position. We attend pitching practice with your instructor so we can learn as well and how to make adjustments. We are looking for middle infield with great range, strong arms, corner girls that like a challenge with strong arms and mobility, Outfielders who can cover ground, have strong accurate arms.
All players must have a great attitude, have a passion for the game, want to be challenged, are willing to work hard, have strong accurate arms, can hit, and are coachable!
The coaching staff has a wealth of knowledge, are in an organization with a lot of college coaching connections, work hard for our players, teach up to date fundamentals. Head Coach is starting his 35th year and has built strong competitive teams that played high regional and national tournaments/showcases.
