Sun in the eyes caused the drop provision of the rulebook?

Otherwise I guess the guy said she dropped on the transfer??

Umpire blocks the view at the worst possible time, but it sure looks like she just misses the ball. Was it ever even in her glove?

There is basically no delay from the time you lose the ball over the umps shoulder to the time that you see it falling to the ground to the right of the ump. I don't see how there could be any type of control/catch???

It had to be "in the glove" for an instant, based on 1B and 2B reaction, but they immediately change to "she dropped it".

Control is just one aspect of a catch. Voluntary release is the key.
