My daughter plays 10u and just turned 11. She is about 5’ tall and weighs around 115 lbs. She currently uses a 2020 prism 30/19. Based on her size I plan on moving to a 31 my question is should I move to a drop 10 or stick with a drop 11? I just don’t know if 2 oz is too much to change at one time. She has good bat speed and a lot of power. While I am considering a ghost advanced or even a meta I am leaning towards staying with the prism and going with the prism+ only because she likes this bat so much.

If you do move to the Ghost keep in mind that they weigh more than the sticker. The Prism and the Meta are closer to sticker.

Adding 1" and 2 oz at the same time is a very big change. She will adapt, but it might affect her performance for a little while. As JLI2010 mentioned, pay attention the actual weights. Going to a +1" and -10 Ghost would be closer to a 3 oz change, which may be overwhelming. Als be sure to get your DD's input on what she likes. Being happy with the bat in her hands when standing in the box is an important factor.

The barrels on drop 11’s tend to be slightly smaller in diameter ie less barrel. I think that’s where they lose that 1 ounce. Just something to keep in mind. When we moved from 31in to 32in I bought a dual stamp ghost drop 11. DD never liked it.

So you think a 31 drop 11? Because any of the sizing measurements I’ve seen say 31”
