Arizona State wins to of three from UCLA. In the game UCLA won, Kellie Fox hit a grand slam in the first inning off ASU's Escobedo. To the surprise of everyone, those were the only runs UCLA scored. After that hit, the UCLA offense was a no-show. In the second game, Mackenzie Popescue shut out UCLA. In the third game, Escobedo shut out UCLA.

Arizona beat Washington 2 out of 3 in Tucson. Arizona is now the conference leader...BUT (and this is a big BUT), Arizona has played the best teams in the conference--UCLA, Arizona State, and California. I don't think Arizona will be at the top of the heap much longer.

Next week, we have the Arizona collegiate championship of ASU v. Arizona at Tucson.

Tennessee sweeps LSU, scores 24 runs in 3 days. Simply a rout...

Alabama beat the heck out of Mississippi State for three game, while Georgia did the same to Ole Miss. Florida murdered Auburn.

Michigan slept walked through two wins over the Illini. Watching a Big 10 game is torture...If Michigan is playing, there is no point in watching the game. If Michigan isn't playing, it is like watching the Keystone Cops playing the Muppets.

Texas played Iowa State. The only question was how many runs Iowa State would score--the answer: 1. Texas' upcoming games: UT-Arlington, Texas Women's, Texas Tech, and UT-San Antonia. The UT pitcher's ERA will drop, and UT will be the top team in the poll for a couple of weeks, before they finally play Missouri and Oklahoma.

What? No honorable mention of Missouri taking two from Oklahoma? Chelsea Thomas pitched both games...like 350 pitches. She looks like she is much better physical shape this year.

Both games went into extra innings. Abby Vock did a vock-on home run in the 9th...yeah stole that from a writer!: ) Then scored in the 11th on a close head first slide at home plate for the final win.

AND Ok State Cowboys beat the high scoring Texas Tech!! Wahoooo!
