Turning the Barrel

We need to stop focusing on what the hands are doing. It it what the elbows are doing that turns the barrel. The slotting of the back elbow to the down position and getting the front elbow along with the forearm at about a 90 degree position to the back elbow is what turns the bat. The hands don't move, the elbows do.
Uh oh.... let the drama begin, :)

The hands don't move, the elbows do.
For 7 or 8 years I fought this battle. I could quote Steve Englishbey, "The only thing that the hands can do is hold onto the bat" but if I did, the Mississippi River would flow backward, the moon and sun would collide, the earth would stop spinning and we would all fall off. Therefore, I would never quote Englishbey stating that. LOL
