As expected, Arizona State is #1. They definitely are the team to beat.

Michigan loses to an Iowa, and drops to #2. Michigan should have dropped more.

Speaking of over-rated, Texas is in at #3.

Here is where I would put them:

1) Arizona State
2) Georgia
3) Michigan
4) Alabama
5) Florida
6) Texas
7) Tennessee
8) UCLA
9) Arizona
10) California

Big battles next week:

*Texas finally plays a top 25 team when Oklahoma comes to town. After playing the Little Sisters of the Poor University for the last two months, it is time for the Longhorns to put up or shut up.

*UCLA and California. There are more than bragging rights at stake. The seeding for the tournament is very important. The winner of this weekends series probably gets to stay home for the regionals, while the other team heads out to Timbuktu, ND.

*NMSU v. Hawai'i. Interesting matchup. Overall, the WAC isn't as strong as the PAC-10 or SEC, but the winner of the conference usually does well in the tourney. Fresno State won the title in 1998, and Hawai'i did quite well in 2010. NMSU is leading the conference.
