A lot if going to depend on your budget and goals. I have seen teams who have worn t-shirts with numbers ironed on all the way to the multi-thousand dollar multi-uniforms teams.

Intensity Brand Jerseys are fantastic for the money. Bombah Pants are great and offer more than plain looks. Materials are good for both.
I would find a local store to do the twill logo's and number work.
