I always use a plate, even with tee work. This way the player can set their feet relative to the plate. This allows you to move the tee around depending on the drill and what you are trying to accomplish.

YEP..always. Gives a valuable visual reference cue to where they are and where the ball is and contact point is in relation to the plate/setup.

I see it as create posture and maintain tilt.

Tanner is erect with plunging. Her body isn’t doing anything until she plunges.
She isn’t ready to swing.
