I took some swing the other day with DD soft tossing and wife watching closely. Pulled a muscle in my neck. It aint easy.
I do have to give TM some credit and that you don't unload the hips. You maintain the load and don't load and unload. That is the major difference between the two swings. The load is released to early and there's a connection between the back arm/elbow and the stride foot opening while slotting, not a good sequence.
Video is a must to see what your swing thoughts are doing to your motion. I think I can do better then the two swings. now that I see the problem.
