DD1 & DD2 capped off an undefeated season with a Maine Class C state championship! Outscored opponents 33-5 in the playoffs, including 3-0 in the C South Final, and 5-0 in the State Final
DD1 just played stellar D at 2B all year (2B has tended to be out hotspot on D the past 2 seasons).....2 for 2 with a walk in 2 RBI in a 5-0 win in the state final
DD2 was 4-4 on throwing out steal attempts in the playoffs - think she threw out 58% for the season, got hurt a little by some early difficulties at SS getting the tag down.....
both made all-conference......and this team returns 8 starters next year, our pitchers were a frosh & a soph, with a frosh catcher (DD2)......4-5 solid frosh coming in next year, too
on to travel!
