I used a pink, red, and purple polka dot umbrella watching DD play Monday.

i wore slides to DD3's coach pitch game to show off my painted toenails, because i took her to get a pedicure and joined in on the fun (her request)

Its disturbing to watch crotch grab after crotch grab and spitting in baseball
(all the players dont do these)

Really glad dont have to see that in womans fastpitch.

It's not the undies it's the cup. Never stays where it should despite the undies used. Nor do what it's protecting (especially in the heat). Gross, but you started it.

really my post was just a little feedback of watching athletes....or ummm...why someone might not watch...to the op's topic point.

Different cultures for different games. Why to basketball players now (not when I was growing up) always reach out to a free throw shooter after a shot, hit or miss. Why to some receivers in football (or whole teams) do silly dances or other antics after a touch down. Why do tennis players apologize after a ball they struck hits the net and goes over for a win, why do Latin soccer announcers yell GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! This list goes on and on. It's a bit like fashion. This generation does this, 10 years from now, who knows.
