Ok I’m sorry if this is a stupid question, but I can’t find a definitive answer. I know lots of kids use lizard skin. Does removing the factory grip and applying lizard skin alter the warranty? And what about adding the taper end? Is that illegal in any sanction? I’m assuming not but I’m asking anyway. Don’t kill me.

It doesn't void the warranty. I believe as long the taper is firmly attached (taped) , it is legal in all associations.

Are you building your own taper or buying a prefab one?

I always tapered my fake bats. I could never get use to them after swingwood for so long

No I’m asking about a Lizard Skin taper. My daughter swung a bat with one and liked the feel of it.
