I'm guessing Bill gave you the hook-up, so this advice won't be useful now, but your big mistake was not finding out what the PC teaches before you wasted time going to even a single lesson.
Since you understand the I/R vs HE difference and have at least a basic understanding of what I/R should look like, in the future (or for anybody else), ask some questions ahead of time. Don't use "Internal Rotation." Just ask them about some of the core teachings of HE. If that's what they teach, go elsewhere.
