Anybody ever used this?

I looked at the ad and couldn't figure out how it works. What he demonstrates you could do with any bat, what am I missing? But in the sidebar I saw Matt Antonelli talking about the Half Bat. I'm going to post that as a question.

I believe (but not sure) it gives a similar feeling of a split grip.

I found a review where the hitter had a hand on each handle, in the demo he was using only the lead arm.

I have seen it used with a hand on each handle separate. I think with the bat grip that way it is near impossible to get your elbow out in front of your hands which most consider “bat drag”.

Either I'm crazy or this is just a different version of the small bats you train with? I also see the second handle...I'm guessing that's like the weighted handled balls for working rotating hip and knee throw on your back leg? Too lazy to go to the site. lol
