Insider bat I have. Used it with a high inside tee setup. Worked on not 'plunging'. Picked it up for $2 @ goodwill lol
Rope bat I honestly never thought it would make it in the market.

We have been doing the “Manny Drill” with the insider bat lately. We warm the drill up off a tee first, with the tee centered on the player instead of at the front foot. When we do the manny drill I toss whiffles to their sternum or just below front arm pit.

In concept, I like the insider bat or rope bat as a companion drill to using a heavy training bat like Swing Mechanic or Camwood. We also use knob weights that cable on the end of a regular bat. One is 8 oz, one is 12. (Awesome product, they aren’t made anymore but show up on eBay occasionally.) The light bats are the “under” component of sort of an “over/under” set. We don’t do much of it, it’s just kind of a warmup to whatever we are working on that day.

We use the Insider Bat -- we call it the paddle.

Good for our younger girls to get hands positioned correctly.
