I had a couple people tell me she needs to choose a side playing softball as she ages but I'm thinking if baseball players can switch why can't a Softball player keep her skill set. I just think it helps her be a better hitter overall.
The reasons for switch hitting in baseball are not necessarily as compelling in softball and you are cutting your practice reps in half from either side when you do it. If she is good from the LH side I would just keep working on getting better from that side, jmho of course.

OK lets assume that Player X's switch hitting abilities are pretty much equal. If so what advantage if any is there to batting RH?
