I tried to lower my hands and it felt like they were lower, but on video they weren’t really lower that much.

I think in some players the hands appear lower because they have a lot of hip flexion. They're not necessarily lower in relation to the armpit.

High, low, shoulder height really doesn’t matter imo. The swing will launch from roughly the same position. It’s a feel. Hand action must match stride action (or no stride action in this case). Less Load/stride means less hand action. More Load/stride means bigger hand action

Your statement isn’t an absolute. You can have no stride and a lot of hand movement.
