Also, when you buy another company, a lot of times it doesnt take a long time to get a good product. I actually spoke with one of the heads of Rawlings yesterday. This bat has been in the making since last year and the double barrel is def from the Easton side.

We talked for about 30 minutes and he wasnt shy in saying Rawlings bats of prior just werent performing to make them a player, and Easton was def a purchase for that and was used to help speed things up.

Yes, it takes years to fully incorporate a company that's acquired. Which is why many don't even try. Google bought YouTube, Bank of America bought Merrill Lynch. They are still separate entities in many aspects of the business.

From our talk....I dont think you are going to see a Rawling/Easton merge...prob keep separate
just like Miken/Worth is separate from Rawlings as well.

I spoke with them to voice my concern about our Rawlings rep and that I would prefer him not
being our Easton one if they did so...so sounds like its safe for now
