If my DD (11 years old) keeps pitching I'll probably pay top dollar for a custom one for me. That'll be fun.

I should know by 14U. I'll limp along until then.

I actually really like the black stitching against the tan leather on the thumb and pinky. Think it brings the black palm together with the tan.

Breaking in a few for the kid's teammates. They're not Rawlings as the team has a Wilson contract, but the 2021 A2000 is a sharp looking catchers mitt.

The issue I've had with the A2000 FPCM has been the rubber sting pad that Wilson puts behind the felt on this glove. With some girls they can't get the glove to close all the way. A scalpel or dremel on the honeycombs and you can shave the pad down a bit and then this glove works great. View attachment 21359

This is the rubber sting pad Wilson puts in the A2000 FPCM (Fastpitch Catchers Mitt) that I was talking about. Looks like the sole from a pair of Van's shoes. It's actually on the hand side of the leather so you have the gloves palm and all the felt before you get to this pad and then the hand stall side of the glove. I trim the height down on the honey combs a bit and then the girls with the smaller hands can close the glove all the way and still have sting pad.
