'Squishing the bug' is spinning the rear foot(cause) to rotate the hips(effect).

I see this hitter's rear leg being the 'driver of this swing. I'm seeing the inner rear thigh being the 'driver' as the hitter turns the barrel.

Again JMHO

I agree with rdbass. The reason her rear foot is spinning as it is, is because of what she is doing (or not doing) with her front foot. She is essentially blocking some of her typical movements.

Nice observation... I see what you're saying when you see the large bold quote above

Last time I looked for gasket material for a tee, I couldn’t find the right stuff. I used the sidewall area of a tractor tire inner tube. Farm stores have “baler belt” material. That looks pretty good.

DD and I were at the cages this morning. While she was warming up with tee swings, I was walking around to inspect the equipment. They have at least a dozen tees there. So I am going to take some rope or string the next time we go and tie it to two tees. If I like the drill, I may buy the pvc to make one. But I think the tees and string will provide a good option to test it.

Someone apparently noted the interest in this topic and posted a better teacherman video to fastpitch zone on fb.

We are total trendsetters here at DFP, lol
