The two Princeton pitchers have had some nice success in the regionals throwing between 58-62mph. Mostly 60mph and under.

I have noticed a lot more 56-64mph pitching than ever in the regionals. Not sure if ESPN mistakenly switched to the accurate radar or what, LOL!

GCU also had a pitcher that was very effective in their game against VT that seemed to be throwing 58-60MPH.

After being shellacked in first game, I guess the team decided they did not want to be a punching bag for the rest of the weekend. Having watched some home games this season, I was impressed by their recovery. Watching on TV was nice to see the level of precision the pitchers were throwing. They stayed all over the edges of the strike zone, rarely leaving a meatball to be crushed. I wonder how much the difference in velocity made a difference as well.
