Anyone have a great plan for a young 10u squad? We have 10 weeks lined up plus a separate 4 week conditioning session. Looking for good drills to be done in small spaces. We have 12 girls and 4 coaches.
We do winter workouts (12U) that is straight conditioning and isometrics. We barely touch a ball or glove during the winter.
Really it looks like: Squats x 100, Lines until they are close the throwing up, bear crawl around the bases with push ups at every base, Ab work ….a bunch, Cone drills for speed and agility.
Basically if you go to a "bootcamp" type workout with legs and abs being the focus, that's what we did all winter.
