Plica Syndrome

I am just curious if others have had experience with Plica Syndrome in the knee. My DD is currently dealing with it and her team has very good trainers and they are treating it. It is starting to respond but is still nagging so her innings are being controlled to start the season. Curious if surgery was ultimately required for those with experience?

Never heard of Plica Syndrome. What is it? My DD just had knee surgery in August for a Hyper Lateral Meniscus, which is a hereditary condition.
