That is fine, but what I was responding to was the idea that you need that in order to win. I never said
being friends with your teammates wasn't a good thing in particular if it is important to the player.

Gotcha. I agree. We've been thumped by teams where the girls barely knew each other (over half the team was pick-up players).

Every kid is different. Mine could care less about being friends with her team, although we are blessed that she is. She wants great coaches and skilled teammates liking them is a bonus.
