Alliance has deep pockets and isn't going anywhere anytime soon, this more or less comes down to what region you're based out of.

A majority of PGF births have been given out early, and this is there way to fight Alliance, is auto bids. they will state the past performance as the reason for auto bid though....

The answer to your 3rd question is TBD, each brings something great to the table Alliance no stay to play, PGF auto bid can help a family properly plan for the end of summer trip. IMO Alliances format for nationals is better than blind draw, PGF has better competition from 10-14 16 us a toss up and Alliance at the 18s is better. There are a lot of orgs that wont play Alliance because of the stakeholders, and some personally feelings.

With regards to your first question I've heard some stuff about some cracks forming in the Alliance (specifically one of the leagues) but could just be hearsay.....

Haven't been accepted into Alliance yet, hearing 50/50 they do. If not a lot of those teams are going to be crawling back to PGF...
