Pretty Funny Sluggers! Thx for cleaning up the other thread. Now all we need is Phil Schonberg to tell Nunthia when/how he came up with the term "forearm fire". I remember it like it was yesterday, even though it was way back in 2012. Some 3 years after reading my original Internal Rotation post in 2009.

Thank you for cleaning this up @sluggers. Exactly what needed to happen! Agree with BM on the whole Forearm fire branding that Crazy Phil basically stole from this site and "branded" it himself. It's all good though as Crazy Phil STILL doesn't know the first thing about I/R. But I have to admit, I love watching his videos as it always makes me laugh!

Wait, Forearm fire is a rip off? Say it ain't so!!!! What's next? Are you guys gonna tell me the Finch Windmill isn't being used by all the top 10 pitchers? That someone's dad capitalized on their daughter's success? Or that if I franchise myself all over the country and world I could copyright what I'm teaching as if I created it? What about Santa, Easter Bunny, Socialism being good, Trump being a "nice man, or the Tooth Fairy? Are you going to crush all my beliefs?

I try to stay out of contentious threads since I survived the Hitting Wars. However, I will go on the record that Boardmember is being very gracious about not throwing his resume out there. It is impressive.

I'll wrap up by saying that of the things Nyman contributed to these various boards the main thing, in my opinion, is his quote, "You are only capable of seeing what you are capable of seeing."

I clicked thinking this was going to be a parent/coach versus a board thread ... I reacted with a laugh at first, thinking that was a parody post to kick this off. Don’t get up, I’ll see myself out.

Cannon, it's so amazing that you wrote this. I have no idea why but I was thinking about Mr Nyman 2 days ago, and that was the first time in 10 years or so. I wondered what ever happened to him.

I remember sitting in a hotel lobby with hitting coach Steve Englishbey and we were talking about Nyman, and again that's going back 10-15 years ago.

Very odd timing of your quote.

Speaking of forearm fire, I remember the day I found that guy in Connecticut who had a website and a bunch of videos teaching "forearm fire." I was so excited because there was someone out there doing the same things we were discussing on this board, and then I saw reference to him on the board and everyone was tearing the guy apart. He was teaching/advocating the same things as Boardmember, just using different words, and he was totally destroyed for it.

That's all. Carry on.
