The success of the NPF hinges on Cheri Kempf finding a new hobby.
I wrote like 500 words on this and you summarized all of it with a single sentence.
The success of the NPF hinges on Cheri Kempf finding a new hobby.
...Ultimately fans don’t root for players but for teams... Pretty much tells you all you need to know about the NPF.
Ha, I thought the same thing -- glad you said it!1. New name is a good idea... but not MLF. Too close to MILF........
This would seem to be the natural course, but this 'Baseball for All' thing is spending lots of ad dollars during MLB games and it has me puzzled. I wish there was that kind of marketing support behind NPF -- I've seen much more of those little girls saying "Put me in coach" than I have of Sierra Romero or Keilani Ricketts. I guess the biggest problem facing cross-promotion between MLB and NPF is that they share the same season has have different venue needs. The WNBA can use NBA facilities in the offseason, kind of a win-win for pro basketball.2. Partner with MLB the way women’s basket has partnered with NBA - all MLB teams throw in support money

I actually 100% agree with 625...What makes MLB want to do anything with NPF and why? The only people that think MLB should
support (and by support, people really mean pay for everything because NPF is a money wasteland) is fastpitch ex players or parents that wanna watch it...and hell, there are even a lot
of ex players that don't even care about watching softball. So MLB should just throw money away because of a select few that wanna watch softball.
I like watching college softball, but pro...not so much. I will watch if im flipping thru but prob will not watch the whole game. Softball has to show they have an audience and can
show some kind of monetary value before anything happens.
