Do you think the scap gets loaded, or is loaded?
Neither...it pulls back along with the lower back.
The rear leg is what gets 'loaded'.
The action of the scap, as well as the action of the hip and lower back....is to PULL BACK so as to LOAD THE LEG.....not the scap.

This is a good example of hiding the hands, of course the hands start away from his body and then the hands are brought into the body/back shoulder.

I think I know what you are trying to say...but momentum is always conserved...
Thanks, I was hoping you would chime in. Often people would say that if the hands are to far back and the lead arm is barred, then the figure skater effect is compromised.
