Burn the xelerator. It is a snake oil gimmick. Pucks are ok for a curve ball for girls who struggle with body awareness. I haven’t found another use for them.

Striped balls or dotted balls can be good. I like to challenge girls to learn how to throw all their spins with a steady stripe or dot. It requires a ton of experimenting with grip and release to accomplish this.

A girl that learns to throw a stripe only will be lost without the stripe. My preference is using a darkened seams ball to help build spin/axis awareness. With spin/axis awareness, it’s easy to apply it to a regular ball. With a darkened seams ball, you learn to see the dots and learn to steer the axis.
