Yeah but the glove doesnt care. Should make a nice middle infielder FP glove as it is a narrow fit labeled for youth and DD has pretty small hands.

Even though the wrist is laced in the youth narrow fit, how is the actual hand stall size? Wing Tips generally have larger hand stalls, so I’m told!

What’s wrong with a baseball glove, I was always under the impression they were built better than fastpitch gloves, am I wrong?

From what I’ve read and seen for myself baseball gloves are better quality than Fastpitch gloves.
I had both 2019 A2000 Baseball & Fastpitch gloves in my hand on Thursday and was more impressed with baseball glove.
Baseball gloves tend not to have Velcro wrist straps. You can get them but not a must have. Fastpitch have more gloves that offer Velcro and leather pull straps to tighten gloves around wrist area.
I just ordered a custom Vinci baseball glove with standard open back no wrist straps for DD.

If your referring to the A2000’s no not custom. Just your mass produced 12.75” outfield gloves for $260. They were half price at a local pro shop so I figured I would take a look. Not a big Wilson fan but for $130 I could be persuaded to warm-up to them.
I put the baseball on hold but DD didn’t like the color combo.
We built a glove she liked on Akadema site and then had Vinci see what they could do. Vinci seemed to have more substantial padding so we went with the Vinci. Also Vinci turn around was much quicker than Akadema.

12.75 H web, Rep recommended kip leather for DD’s age. Blonde/dark brown leather, open back don’t recall exact model off hand.

From a cursory look at it prior to wrapping it to go under the tree....it appears the hand stall probably a little roomier than I hoped and wrist strap will need laced a notch tighter. Beautiful glove though and she will grow into it. Pretty stiff also so gonna take some work to break in. Lots of playing catch in the near future i think

Just something to read. I was always under the impression it was designed for large hands, never thought about the design keeping the inside welting off of your knuckles.

She had the steer hide 12” H web previously. It’s about 2.5 years old of heavy usage. Been a great glove.
The new one is def smaller but the pics are deceptive. It’s not really that much smaller.

Finally got a chance to grab the obligatory ball-in-glove pics for @ANNASDAD DD is over the moon for this glove. Need to relace wrist smaller for her and she is breaking it in TIP which she really likes so far.
