New Coach - great forum

I'm a new coach for 10u , 1st time in FastPitch , I've played college baseball but it is not the same ! I have been on here reading since I committed to coaching this year and this forum has been great .
Also , I'm a cancer survivor-kidney removed, diabetic and have had a minor foot amputation , but still able to get around like normal and no one really knows what I have to go through just to coach.
My daughter is 9 and this is her 2nd season , loves it and so do I

Don't sell yourself short. It's actually a lot the same....especially at that age. Good fielding technique is good fielding. Good throwing is good throwing. No matter what anyone tells you the swing you teach should not be different. Obviously their are some baserunning differences and the game is faster due to the short bases but if you teach your girls the things you know they'll be way ahead of the game.
