This is the glove i used CATCHING
the season of and at the
1986 College World Series

It has these dimples on the inside to help handle spin and grip better.
( look close can see my emergency patch job on the inside of pocket)

I rehabbed a couple SSKs over summer, so.e with the dimples and a catchers glove that didn't have them

LOL bones....teeth... Smile and chompers are good
Strong hands survived thanks!
Put pinky and ring finger far left.
Middle and index next slot.
= BIG POCKET
= No finger smashing!
( no fingers 1st or 2nd slot)
Also easier to turn around the ball!

It has sentimental value just the way it is. but thanks for the tip... Good to know of resources

Pretty darn good with leather works myself ! Really important to break in glove correctly too!

A worn, well used patina is all the rage in some vintage trucks and furniture, didn't know it was a thing for gloves! ;-) Give that treasured memory some TLC before it turns to dust Turbo!

Think your right!
Its got that dirt on it from the world series...perhaps i will keep the dirt and smash it in with some glove oil...maybe...
