I know some of these questions are tongue in cheek, but many are questions I would ask. If they don't like the questions then beware. What is the likelihood that I will get to play my freshman year?
How many recruits are you bringing and how many transfers?
Why is there only 1 Senior on the team?
How many players can dress out and travel to away games?
What time do weights start?
How many hours a week will I be at the field without coaches present?
How do you get the most out of your players?
What is the housing situation for your players?
How do you feel about me pursuing a major in Nursing?
I am pitcher--Will I be asked to change my style?
I am a hitter--Will I be asked to change my style?
What frustrates you?
Who controls the music on the PA system at the field?
How do you see the next four years? Where will you be?
What is your favorite form of player punishment?
Will there be snacks in the dugout?
Who drags the field?
Do you like hacky sack?
Are tutors available?
When are mandatory study sessions?
Do you have equipment sponsors?
Do I get to hit my favorite bat? Don't make me hit Mizuno!
Why do you have 6 pitchers and only 2 catchers?
The most important question the player needs to ask herself. Would you attend this school if you didn’t play softball?
