I did overhear a crazy 10U bucket dad say that "We don't let her throw her curveball when we play indoors. It breaks so violently that the catcher can't see it in the fluorescent lighting."

*Up north, we play indoor games in the winter months.

Great laughs. Had a former player who’s mom always talked about her daughters dream to play for a local big 10 school. Had confidence she would. Mean while she couldn’t make the starting 9 out of 10 girls on a B level team. Also in HS has not made varsity and she will be a senior this year. Crazy how unrealistic folks can be.
