This grip (notice the 4 fingers) is held similarly to a peel drop grip. Except for;

1. The leg of the horse shoe is positioned so it is on the same line as the area of the hand between the index finger and the thumb/
2. The release point must be a little out front of the front hip to allow for the follow through.
3. The hand is opened to the 'Handshake' position with the fingers pointing somewhat down and thumb pointing a little to the right for a RHP/
4. Follow through is to the glove side towards the shoulder.

This grip, release and follow through will produce a hard breaking down and in screwball. It produces a 4-seam spin from around 10 to 4.

The faster and harder you follow through to the glove side, the more it spins and harder it breaks.

THis can be very difficult for a pitcher that uses open mechanics.

Your screw ball grip is misleading for 10 yo girls. Why not show a pure peel drop grip? Why do you teach horizontal movement? Vertical movement is where it is at in FP.
