The Arizona Cardinals just hired a female intern coach. She's played football in something called the WFA. I'm curious if people will be as accepting of a female coach in football as we've become with male coaches in Girls/Womens Fastptich? I've seen many posts about not having to play HS/College fastpitch to coach and males make as good or even better fastpitch coaches than females. I think this is awesome for our daughters that more bariers are falling. Is there anyone who thinks females shouldn't be coaching football?

Well, there are a lot of men who coach softball who've never played it. They get into it because their kids played. Yes, on a lower level but still. I see no reason why a woman shouldn't coach football esp if she's played it herself.

I do not think someone has to play a sport to be a good coach, but most of the guys coaching women's fastpitch have a baseball background.
