She currently swings a 29/18 Demarini cfx. She turns 10 next month. She will be playing 12u ball this fall and spring season. I bought her a new 31/21 prism a few months ago but it was to heavy. What do y’all suggest. @CoreSoftball20

You just went too far too fast going up 2 inches in length and to drop 10. I would suggest a zen in 30/20 or 30/19 if she's on the smaller side and not breaking bats yet as the drop 11s are more fragile. A Louisville slugger lxt would also be a good choice. The ghost is going to feel heavy and end loaded.

I got it cheap so we gave it a try. I got my money back for it lol. She did have a 28/17 lxt that she said was to small. So we went to the 29/18 cfx. Everybody around here kept telling me to skip the 30/20 bc she is getting ready to hit a growth spurt and it’ll be a waist of money lol.

That's the problem with fastpitch softball you really can't skip bat sizes without their performance suffering. Bats actually hold their value pretty well so you will be able sell pretty much any used CF bat for 100-150 dollars so I never worry about it. I have 2 kids and 1 or 2 of every size starting at 28/17. Finally going to get to start selling as the little one grows out of bats!

What about the xeno?

The Xeno swings a bit heavy where the LXT is more true to weight.
My DD started with a DeMarini as her first expensive bat, then went to an LXT, then 4 different Xenos and now has a 2020 Ghost. She’s 19 now.

the waste was listening to people telling you to skip weights to save money...and sacrifice your dd hitting
with a bat way too heavy and big. I know it sucks to buy bats, but a bat that fits a kid right, is more valuable than gold when hitting.

You could also try a 2020 Power Carbon.
